The Health and Counseling Center, staffed by professionals with years of experience and training in the area of college health, is dedicated to equipping students with skills needed to access healthcare throughout their lives. It is open weekdays 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. to all students. The college purchased the Stack house, named for the original owner, in 1970. The Health Center, located in Porter Center since 1968, moved to the Stack house in 1983. It was converted into examination rooms, counseling offices and a quarantine area until further renovation in 2013.
