Deane Hall is a beautiful building tucked in amongst the oak trees that cover lower campus. This is where you can find the offices of history and communication studies professors. Among the offices, you can also find cozy classrooms that offer space for smaller, discussion based classes. During the college’s first years in Santa Barbara, some faculty families lived in apartments in Deane Hall. Westmont purchased the property in 1967.
