    1. Carroll Hall

Carroll Hall, commonly referred to as the old observatory, houses many classes. Carroll originally housed two telescopes and was utilized as the campus observatory. The Keck Telescope was temporarily installed at Carroll in 2007, but was moved to the new observatory with Carroll’s larger dome in 2009. A smaller dome still gleams atop Carroll’s authentic brick facade. The Carroll Observatory, which featured a 16.5”' reflector telescope made and donated by George Carroll, was dedicated in 1957.
