Ana Paula Cortez is a Master in Applied Linguistics and the Studies of Languages who works at Graded School - the American School of São Paulo, Brazil, as a Portuguese as an Additional Language Teacher and Middle School advisor. She has a 25-year experience in the educational field, specially in the area of foreign language teaching and teacher education. Her major research interests are multicultural education, foreign languages and teacher professionalization. Her other interests are energy healing, since she is also a reincarnationist psychotherapist working with past life regressions and a reiki master.
