Chile lives to the west side of the Andes Mountains, stretching over 2,670 miles north to south, but only 217 miles at its widest point east to west (which is about the width of Massachusetts!) Santiago is the cultural, political, and financial center of Chile and home to regional headquarters of many multinational corporations.
