Dr. Frank E. Brown, Class of 1898, was an athlete and a beloved Salem area physician having earned his medical degree from Willamette's medical college in 1900.
Brown Field Memorial Recreation Area was dedicated in 1962 in his name and is used as an area for
intramural sports.
