Baxter Hall is a residence for first-year students as part of the First-Year Commons.
Completed in 1948 as a residence, Baxter Hall also houses the Bishop Wellness Center. It is named after Dr. Bruce Richard Baxter, president of the University from 1934-1940, who left the University to become a bishop in the Methodist Church.
