    1. Fine Arts Exerior

      The Fine Arts Building provides studio laboratories, offices, and classrooms for studio art, graphic design and mass communication. This facility has a large covered outdoor work areas for ceramics kilns and a bronze foundry a state-of-the-art television production studio is part of the mass communication facilities.

      In the forgery area, Sculpture students engage in the process of pouring metals such as iron and bronze. These metals are then used in their class projects.
    4. Health Sciences Exterior

      The Health Sciences building is home to the Colorado Mesa University Department of Health Sciences. This department consists of healthcare professional programs including Nursing, Radiologic Sciences, Surgical Technology and Medical Laboratory Technology. These programs educate a diverse population of students who, upon graduation, will be equipped with the skills and proficiency to deliver a broad range of high-quality, culturally competent care to individuals, families, and communities.  

      The educational curriculum of these programs include a wide variety of teaching methods including the use of fully equipped skills labs, high-tech simulation mannequins and clinical placements in a variety of health care organizations and rural hospitals. These unique educational delivery systems provide students with the opportunity to master course content and skills while gaining valuable hands-on experience.

      The Health Sciences building features fully equipped skills labs with high-tech simulation mannequins. These unique educational delivery systems provide students with the opportunity to master course content and skills while gaining valuable hands-on experience.

    7. Fire Place Lobby

      The fire place lobby serves as a place for students in the Health Sciences building to take a break between classes. It features an electric fireplace that can be turned on at any time. 
    8. Houston Balcony

      Access to the Houston Hall balcony is on the second floor of the building.
    9. Tutorial Learning Center

          The Tutorial Learning Center is located on the first floor of Houston Hall. The TLC provides free, walk-in tutoring for a variety of subjects. TLC goals include creating opportunities for student success and helping students become more independent in their learning.

    11. Maverick Center Exterior

      The Maverick Center (MC) houses classroom and laboratories for health sciences and kinesiology programs, intercollegiate athletic facilities, and campus recreation facilities. 

    12. Monfort Family Performance Lab

       This state-of-the-art facility boasts some of the most technologically advanced equipment and capable personnel west of the Rocky Mountains. The Monfort Family Human Performance Laboratory provides a myriad of services for community members, athletes, students and faculty. This integrative multi-use human performance laboratory provides advanced physiological and biomechanical performance and wellness testing, services not currently available in Mesa County. It expands students-learning opportunities and serves to host current and future research projects. 

      The equipment and testing at the Monfort Family Human Performance Lab is also a valuable asset to athletes. Whether you are analyzing your pitch or critiquing your stride, the human performance lab can help you improve your game.
