    1. University Center Lobby

      University Center Lobby 
      This is a common area for students to hang out. The student traffic on the first floor is so high that different clubs and organizations host tables here around lunch time. At these tables, students 
      are allowed to approach the clubs and organizations and discover ways to get connected.
       
    2. Maverick Center

      The Maverick Center (MC) houses classroom and laboratories for health sciences and kinesiology programs, intercollegiate athletic facilities, and campus recreation facilities. Included in the Maverick Center are: El Pomar Natatorium, one of the premier aquatic facilities in the Western United States, and the Hamiltom Recreation Center. The Hamilton Recreation Center consists of a large fitness/ strength training area.

    3. The Plaza

      The Plaza is known as the center of campus. In the spring and summer, the Plaza is covered by a large white tent to provide shade which is then taken down for the fall and winter. This area hosts many events including club fairs, barbecues, and carnivals. 
    4. Maverick Pavilion

      The Maverick Pavilion was built in 2009 and is often referred to as the “Mav Pav”. It is located south of the football/softball fields and is venue to several indoor sport activities during inclement weather. A 2014 addition added 16,000 square feet to the existing structure, including a basketball court, a 36-foot climbing wall, a cycling center and a golf simulator. 
    5. Dining Hall

      The dining hall is officially referred to as “The Caf”. At the beginning of the fall 2019 semester, Sodexo contributed $1 million for new dining hall upgrades. The Caf now has a modern, community-oriented atmosphere complete with a fireplace, games, compartmentalized socializing areas, and more. 
    6. Outdoor Program

      The Outdoor Program (OP), is Colorado Mesa University’s headquarters for outdoor adventure and education. The OP office offers a gathering space and provides equipment rentals for biking, boating, camping, mountaineering, rock climbing, skiing, snowboarding and more. 
    7. Tomlinson Library Floor 1

      Tomlinson Library expands the traditional library concept to include physical and electronic holdings and circulation of 365,000 library materials. About 23,000 journal titles are available via the library website and more than 20 million items are available through Prospector. 
    8. Robinson Theatre

      The south side of Moss Performing Arts features a 605-seat theatre with fly loft and modern drama lighting systems. A three-story addition completed in 2009 includes a scene shop and a costume shop. 

    9. Stocker Stadium

      Stocker Stadium is home to the Mavericks football team. It opened in 1949 and holds a capacity of 7,000 people. Other activities held on the field include high school and college commencements, and the Western Colorado Marching Band Festival. 

       

    10. Maverick Innovation & cyber Security Center

      The Maverick Innovation and Cyber Security Center offers students from all academic disciplines the opportunity to develop entrepreneurial ideas and turn them into reality by working with students from other disciplines, community experts and CMU faculty. Open to participating students 24/7, an array of resources including industry-standard technologies are available to support product development.
