As the cultural hub of western Colorado, Colorado Mesa University values a respectful, safe and healthy campus; free of violence, abuse, intimidation or discrimination. Working with other University offices, the Office of Diversity, Advocacy and Health provides support for students and faculty to ensure CMU's educational experience includes the free exchange of ideas, bringing together individuals from diverse backgrounds and interests to promote a balanced exchange of civil dialogue. Our students gain a greater appreciation and understanding of self care, inclusion and diversity so they are prepared to take on leadership roles in society. Diversity, Advocacy and Health staff specialize in helping students grow and problem-solve so they can make informed decisions in and out of the classroom. Colorado Mesa University extends its services to anyone regardless of age, race, color, national origin, religion, sex, disability, veteran status, or sexual orientation.
