    1. Foundation Building

      The Foundation Building houses the university's alumni and foundation staffs. These teams are dedicated to creating the support among key constituencies essential to the growth and development of Colorado Mesa University. Primary responsibilities include:

      • Planning and development of the University's advancement activities including annual, alumni, and planned giving; special projects, corporate and foundation relations; and capital campaigns.
      • Establishing and Strengthening the relationships between the university and it's alumni.
      • Communicating the work and success of the University to all constituencies - alumni, friends, students, parents, the community, elected officials, and the media.

      The Colorado Mesa University Foundation is the official nonprofit organization for Colorado Mesa University, linking the community to the University. It recieves and records gifts; then transfers funds to Colorado Mesa University for use according to the donor's wishes and the University's needs. The mission of the foundation is to strengthen educational opportunities at Colorado Mesa University through the distribution of all gift assets. The foundation acts as the depository for all charitable gifts and acts in a fiduciary capacity as exclusive agent for donor activity.
