    1. Patterson Room

      Suite style

Paterson is the newest building on campus, and home to the Residence and Conference Services office. It is very different from any other residence hall on campus, because it is the only building to offer suite-style accommodation. Each suite has four individual bedrooms, and suitemates share the use of a common area, kitchen, and two bathrooms.

For more information, visit the Paterson Hall section of the Residence website.

    3. Residence Services

Living in residence is more than just a choice of where you are going to live while studying at Bishop's: it's a bridge to our community and everything it has to offer. Our students come from across Canada and countries around the world. There is no better way to become a Gaiter than by joining our diverse community right here on campus. It's easy to see why so many our students live on campus year after year.

Our classrooms, dining hall, sports centre, library and so much more are within minutes of our residence halls. Local shops, services and everything you need are just a short 10-minute walk away.

    4. Kuehner

      Bog style

Kuehner, traditionally pronounced “keener”, is home sweet home to a medley of new and returning students. As the residence hall located closest to the Sports Plex and furthest from the Library, this New Side building always produces (among other things) a breed of students tough enough to make the daily trek across campus to class (3-5 min.), come rain, snow, sleet, or shine!

For more information, visit the Kuehner Hall section of the Residence website.

    5. Munster

      Bog style

Munster is a home to be envied for its picturesque view of the Bishop’s landscape. Located in close proximity to the New Side Residences (Abbott & Kuehner), as well as the Dewhurst Dining Hall – this 24-hour quiet community is the perfect environment to study, nap, and relax.
For more information, visit the Munster Hall section of the Residence website.
    6. Abbott Residence

      Bog style

Enjoy the privacy of a single with the benefits of having a roommate. Each room has a sink and vanity, with a shared toilet and shower between the rooms.

For more information, visit the Abbott Hall section of the Residence website.
    7. Mackinnon Residence

      Traditional style

Mackinnon is a traditional-style residence and houses approximately 115 residents. Situated at the centre of campus, Mack is a mere stone’s throw from practically everything at Bishop’s. Mackinnonites also enjoy the use of a common kitchen facility, TV lounge, and the Blue Room, an inviting lounge and study facility. You and the friends you’ll make will be glad you spent your year in Mackinnon Hall!

For more information, visit the Mackinnon Hall section of the Residence website.

    8. Norton

      Traditional style

Since 1950, this residence has been turning out some of Bishop’s most brilliant – and legendary – students. It is connected to Pollack through the 2nd floor, enabling residents to enjoy the use of common areas and laundry facilities in both buildings. Norton overlooks the historic Quad and is the closest residence to the university centre and most of the academic buildings. It is known for its spirit, camaraderie, and pride.
For more information, visit the Norton Hall section of the Residence website.
    9. Pollack

      Traditional style

Pollack is a mere hop, skip, and a jump from the Library (a vital fact to tell your parents). It’s the smallest residence on campus, housing 46 residents primarily on two floors. Attached to Norton by the second floor corridor, residents are able to use the common areas and laundry facilities of both buildings. What Pollack lacks in size, it makes up for in friendliness and warmth. Welcome to a unique and dynamic place to live!
