East Cottage is a faculty residence and student dormitory located on Memorial Circle. The building was purchased in 1920 and presumably takes its name from its earlier location on the eastern periphery of the campus.
Former United States President John F. Kennedy ’35 lived in a second floor room in East Cottage during his fourth form year at Choate.
