Rubber Rabbitbrush (Ericameria nauseosa)
Ubiquitous throughout the Great Basin, Rubber Rabbitbrush blooms in late summer and fall with golden yellow flowers. It colonizes disturbed areas, needs no irrigation once established and can grow quite quickly. In landscape settings it looks better when pruned close to the ground every few years to prevent legginess.
