Red Yucca (Hesperaloe parviflora)
A beautiful flowering plant, Red Yucca is a tremendous asset to waterwise plantings. Although native to Texas and Mexico, it has proven hardy in many Rocky Mountain gardens when given well-drained soil and spring planted. Long wands of pink flowers arise in early summer that give rise to round, green seed pods. Very attractive to hummingbirds!
