Fernbush (Chamaebatiaria millefolium)
Fernbush looks just like its name. A member of the rose family, it produces lacy, aromatic foliage on scaly branches. In July the shrub erupts with cream-colored flowers that insects find irresistible. Leaves are deciduous in our area but semi-evergreen in warmer climates. Fernbush makes a nice screen or specimen in the landscape.
