Boulder Raspberry (Rubus deliciosus)
From the east side of the Rocky Mountains comes this flowering shrub. Boulder Raspberry is indeed a raspberry relative but differs in having thornless stems and two inch wide, pure white flowers that resemble single roses. It blooms in May, followed by berries that are edible but not particularly palatable.
