      1. Apache Plume (Fallugia paradoxa)

        This wonderful native shrub of the Southwest blooms with small white flowers that look like single roses. Its name, however, derives from the soft, pink seedheads that follow. Apache Plume is a showy plant with a long season of interest from late spring into summer. It is an excellent plant for erosion control.
