        This fast-growing tree is common throughout Utah. It is often considered a “weed tree” for its ability to produce huge numbers of seedlings in almost any location. Sometimes referred to as “Chinese Elm” even though that name properly belongs to another species, this particular tree was named the Utah Champion (largest) Siberian Elm in the state (2011).
