Latin Name - Fagus sylvatica ‘Dawyck Purple”
        Height - 60-70 feet

This European Beech develops extremely muscular, smooth, gray bark and glossy purple leaves. It retains a columnar outline, even with age. Well suited to narrow spaces in the landscape, its slow growth rate means that little pruning is required. “Dawyck Purple” is a high-class, high visibility accent plant.
