Adjacent to campus, near the townhouses, the town of Winooski’s Gilbrook Natural Area is an easily accessible, quiet, wooded haven with several miles of running trails that are used by the campus community. Environmental science classes often conduct fieldwork in Gilbrook, and it’s an ideal place to cross-country ski in the winter.
