Henrietta Mann Hall (HMH), formerly known as Rogers & Jefferson Halls, is a newly-renovated residence complex on SWOSU's campus. Mann Hall is comprised of two seven-story towers. The residential floors house “neighborhood” lounges with TVs, study lounges, Resident Advisor quarters, private bathrooms, and industrial-themed resident rooms. Free laundry facilities can be found on the ground floor. Rooms are furnished for double occupancy and include two twin beds, two closets, two desks and chairs, and two dressers. Any of these rooms may be reserved as private rooms as space permits. For convenience, all rooms include TV cable service and wireless Internet service free of charge. The lobby includes living areas, billiards and ping pong, vending machines and TV lounges.

Mann Hall is named after Dr. Henrietta Mann, a Cheyenne enrolled with the Cheyenne-Arapaho Tribes. Mann, a 1965 graduate of SWOSU, was the founding president of the Cheyenne and Arapaho Tribal College. She has served as Director of the Office of Indian Education Programs/Deputy to the Assistant Secretary for the Bureau of Indian Affairs.

In 2008, she received the Lifetime Achievements Award from the National Indian Education Association. Also in 2008, the University of New Mexico honored her with the Bernard S. Rodey Award for her leadership, vision and inspirational guidance in Native American education.

Mann has lectured throughout the U.S. and in Mexico, Canada, Germany, Italy, New Zealand, United Kingdom, Spain, The Netherlands and Belgium. In 1991,
Rolling Stone magazine named Mann as one of the 10 leading professors in the nation.
