The Metro Counseling Center is located on the first floor of the Student Services Building.
The mission of the Counseling Center at Cuyahoga Community College is to promote student success by providing educational advising, instruction and counseling services to all Tri-C students. Academic counseling includes course selection for career or transfer programs, New Student Orientation and Learning Communities to significantly increase chances for academic success. The Counseling Centers also provide short-term personal counseling covering a diverse range of topics from self-esteem, relationship and gender issues, to conflict resolution and adjustment issues. Students also receive help in career advising with aptitude tests, interest assessments and career exploration workshops.
