Garman House is a senior residence located just across Route 9 from Converse Hall. In the basement of Garman House is the Option, a student-run textbook store. The house was built by the Beta Theta Pi fraternity in 1916 and is dedicated to the memory of Charles E. Garman 1872, celebrated professor of philosophy and metaphysics from 1881 to 1907.
