      Parking:

      The nearest visitor/accessible parking is the Benjamin West lot.

      Entrance:

      There is an accessible entrance at the west end of the building facing the field. There are ambulatory entrances on the east side of the building at the north and south wings.

      Stairs:

      There is a central stairway serving all floors, and stair towers at the east end of north and south wings.

      Elevator:

      There is an elevator serving all floors at east end of the south wing.

      Restrooms:

      There are accessible restrooms on all floors in the south wing. There are ambulatory restrooms on all floors in the north wing.

      Safe Waiting Area:

      There are safe waiting areas in the stair tower in the south wing at the southeast corner on the second and third floors.

      About Mertz Hall:

      Mertz houses 139 students in a combination of double and single rooms. Residential life is a significant part of the Swarthmore experience, with 95 percent of the students living in college housing. All of the College's dorms house a diverse mix of students of different class years. Most first-year students and sophomores live with roommates. During junior and senior years, most students live in single rooms.
