About the Music Library
Located in Skinner Hall, the George Sherman Dickinson Music Library is one of the finest undergraduate music libraries in the country. Its holdings include over 17,000 books, 135 periodicals on music, over 27,000 scores, and over 30,000 sound and visual recordings. On the top floor of the library is a museum known as the Treasure Room, housing the Music Department’s historical musical instrument collection.
