         EU Green Supply Chains: Extended Producer Responsibility in Belgium and Germany
         
         Course Themes
         The European Union is leading the way globally in regards to environmental-related legislation. Belgium is the center of the EU's executive branch. Germany is the economic powerhouse in the EU. Through plant visits and meetings with public administrators, the Belgium/Germany GIX students will learn more about how legislation pertaining waste stream management is implemented in Europe and how it impacts businesses, operations and supply chains.

         Global Insight Expeditions (GIXs) are faculty-led global immersion courses. They typically last eight to 10 days and provide opportunities to interact in a meaningful way with local businesses, nonprofits, government officials, and entrepreneurs.
         
         GIXs are part of TuckGO in which students choose from a portfolio of immersive global courses that provide them with the skills and knowledge to successfully navigate diverse business environments.
