Hole 1: Rudolph's Run
Architect Paul Rudolph designed the UMassD campus so that the Campanile and Library are the focal point of the campus. His vision was to work in the Brutalist Form, to emphasize the strength and creativity possible with long-span concrete where parts of the building appear to be suspended in midair.
