    1. Memorial Gym

      Located inside Borden Gym and home to two full-size basketball courts, Memorial Gym was built as an expansion to the gym in 1951 and was dedicated to the memory of those Phillips Academy alumni who died in World War II.

    2. Case Memorial Cage

      The Case Memorial Cage houses two 150-yard indoor tracks as well as facilities for long jump, high jump, pole vault, and shot put. The Cage, as it is affectionately known, also is used for wrestling practices and matches and as a venue for hosting recreational, social, alumni, and community service events throughout the year.

    3. Smith Center

      This former hockey rink was renovated in 2007 and transformed into a multipurpose venue used to host alumni events, special faculty dinners, special event lunches, standardized test taking, the annual faculty and staff Holiday Party, and more.

    4. Phelps Park

      A beautifully maintained baseball field, complete with covered dugouts, a scoreboard, and seating for spectators, that serves as the home of Andover's varsity baseball team.

    5. Varsity Tennis Courts

      These 12 beautifully maintained tennis courts serve as the home of Andover's varsity tennis teams and as a facility for all recreational and instructional tennis.

    6. Paddle Tennis Court

      Built in the summer of 2014, the Paddle Tennis court is the newest addition to Andover's athletics facilities.

    7. Sorota Track

      The Sorota Track is an eight-lane, all-weather 400m outdoor track. The track encloses Smoyer Field, a natural-grass soccer field that also is used for field events such as javelin and discus. Opened in 1988, the track is named after legendary PA track coach Steve Sorota.

    8. Smoyer Family Field

      This natural-grass soccer field was completely renovated in 2006 and now provides a premier playing surface for Andover soccer teams. The field is 115 yds x 75 yds in size, slightly crowned to provide excellent drainage, and kept in pristine condition with the help of a state-of-the-art sprinkler system.The field is surrounded by PA's outdoor track and is used for field events during the spring track season. Adjacent to the playing field is a training ground with goals and grids for small-sided training activities.

    9. Phelps Stadium

      Dedicated in June 2002, Phelps Stadium is home to Brothers Field, an artifical turf field used for football, lacrosse and field hockey games. Equipped with lights for night games, the stadium seats more than 2000 spectators and is accessible to those with physical disabilities. From their locker rooms in the nearby Harrison Rink facility, Andover and visiting athletes enter the stadium through the Sorota Tunnel, named in honor of legendary football and track coach Steve Sorota.

    11. Siberia Fields

      A wide-open area that houses multiple sports fields primarily used for practices and junior varsity games.

    12. Harrison Ice Rink

      Opened in February 2002, Harrison Rink is the home of Andover hockey. This state-of-the-art facility sports two sheets of ice?Harrison Rink (200' x 94'), which is the main arena with seating for 400, and the smaller but NHL-size Gurry Rink (200' x 85'). It also includes locker rooms for all four PA hockey teams and visiting squads, an athletics training room, spacious lobby and viewing areas, and locker space for teams using nearby Phelps Stadium during the fall and spring seasons. The facility is utilized year-round for Andover teams, hockey camps, town youth hockey, and ice skating.

    13. Drench Park

      Refurbished and dedicated in 2014 to longtime softball coach Peter Drench, this softball field complex features upgraded dugouts, scoreboard, and stands.

    14. JV Tennis Courts

      Six tennis courts used for JV games and recreational and instructional tennis.

    15. Graves Field

      Located behind Graves Hall and the Peabody Museum, this area hosts a multi-purpose field used for soccer games and practices as well as the JV baseball field. In spring, the trees that line the edge of the field display gorgeous white and pink blossoms.

    16. Josh Miner Climbing Wall

      Built in 2004 for Andover's Outdoor Pursuits (OP) program, this 32'x40' climbing wall is named for the former PA physics teacher and dean of admissios who was also the cofounder of the Outward Bound USA program upon which Andover's own Search & Rescue program (now called Outdoor Pursuits) was modeled. The wall has five belay lines, as well as lead anchors on two overhung sections. It features 30 top-rope routes and boulder problems for climbers of all levels, from 5.5/V0 (beginner) to 5.12/V.5 (advanced), professionally set by local gym route setters and students.The wall is located in OP's home base facility, which, among PA's OP enthusiasts, is affectionately known as the Bay Tower Room, since it is located in a storage bay on the Abbot Campus and the wall in the room is towering!

    17. The William H. Brown 1934 Boathouse

      The William H. Brown 1934 Boathouse is situated on the Merrimack River. Dedicated on September 23, 2012, this gorgeous facility is used in both the fall and spring seasons. In addition to offering ample parking and plenty of room for housing 8s, 4s, and small boats, it offers a wide expanse of lawn that overlooks the river and an indoor common room with large, river-facing windows that provides a perfect gathering spot for parents and spectators.
