    Stops

    1. Purple Route

We are excited to roll out the orange carpet and extend a warm welcome to all our incoming residents. As you arrive on campus for move-in, Aug. 21-22 (new students) or Aug. 24-25 (returning students), you will NOT go straight to your residence hall.

If you are moving into Conklin Hall you will be following the purple route to your residence hall after you have checked in at the Stroh Center welcome tent.

Even if you know how to get to your hall we ask that you follow your route to help manage the flow of traffic around campus.

    2. Start Purple Route

When you arrive at BGSU for move-in your first stop is the Stroh Center welcome tent. This will be where our Housing team will check your BG ID (or state issued license or valid passport), scan your move-in ticket (QR code found on your Housing Portal) and give you your room key.

It is important to not go to your residence hall first, they will not have your room key and you will be directed back to the Stroh Center welcome tent.

    3. Unloading for Conklin Hall

When you reach your hall you will park in the 15 minute unloading zone. When you arrive you will find large move-in boxes on wheels and lots of volunteers there to help you get unpacked and up to your room.

Make sure you have at least one person with your car at all times while parked in the 15-minute unloading zone. Once you are unloaded you will need to take your car to either Long Term Parking (parents and guests) or Lot 12 (students living on campus with a parking permit).

    4. Conklin

Conklin is home to nearly 250 students. BGSU sororities will occupy a large portion of Housing is being built.  Conklin is near the middle of campus, has air conditioning and is in close proximity to both Harshman and Kreischer Quadrangles, the Sundial Dining Center and Jerome Library.

      Amenities:

    5. Long Term Parking - Lot R and Lot 5

After you have unloaded at your residence hall any cars that do not have a valid BGSU parking permit will need to move their vehicle to Long Term Parking. Lot R and Lot 5 will be available for parking until 9 p.m. each day of move-in.

    6. Student Parking - Lot 12

Students who have on-campus parking permits will need to park in Lot 12. This is where all students living on campus park their cars during the academic year.
