    1. Mary Reed Building

      Mary Reed is perhaps the most legendary building at DU. This Denver landmark was originally built in 1932 as a library. It is currently home to: 
    2. University Hall

      University Hall, once known as Old Main, was the first structure built on the DU campus in 1890, and is the first stop for many of our current visitors. Financial Aid, the Registrar, the Bursar, and campus tours are all found in this building.

       

    3. Daniels College of Business

      Handling its own admissions process, the Daniels College of Business offers several MBA tracks and a number of specialized master's degrees. With a long tradition of innovation, the Daniels College of Business prepares students to advance their careers and make a meaningful difference in their companies, communities and beyond.

       

    4. University College

      University College, the college of professional and continuing studies at the University of Denver, offers cutting-edge master's degrees and graduate certificates. Its admissions office handles all prospective applicants and students directly.

       

    5. International House

      Located at the International House (or I-House), the International Student and Scholar Services (ISSS) office provides assistance with immigration and cultural adjustment, the issuance of immigration documents, orientation, and various other needs new and continuing international students may have.

       

    6. Newman Center for the Performing Arts

      With a distinctive rose-shaped window on its west side, the Newman Center for the Performing Arts is home to the Lamont School of Music. Students enjoy access to virtual practice rooms, a music library, several theater spaces, a jazz rehearsal space, recording studios and 80 Steinway pianos. The Lamont School of Music admissions office is also located here.

       

    7. Iliff School of Theology

      An autonomous campus immediately adjacent to the University of Denver, the Iliff School of Theology hosts its own extensive theological library and offers its own advising and classroom resources to Joint PhD students. Staff from the Office of Graduate Studies is also located at Iliff to assist applicants, new students, and those continuing their studies.

       

    8. Clarence M. Knudson Hall

      The offices for Electrical & Computer Engineering and Mechanical & Computer Engineering are both housed in Clarence M. Knudson Hall. Students majoring in engineering, computer science, mathematics and natural sciences spend much of their class time on the south end of campus, and will enjoy an entirely new facility dedicated to the sciences (the Daniel Felix Ritchie School of Engineering & Computer Science) upon completion.

       

    9. Media, Film, and Journalism Building

      The Department of Media, Film & Journalism Studies offers three degree programs: the Master of Arts in Media, Film & Journalism Studies, which has two emphasis areas (video production emphasis or student-designed emphasis), and the Master of Science in Strategic Communication.  We also offer an MA in International & Intercultural Communication.  This joint program is offered by the Dept. of Media, Film & Journalism Studies (where it is also administered, within AHSS) and the Joseph Korbel School of International Studies.  Students take equal amounts of coursework in both areas.

       

    10. Ammi Hyde Building

      The Graduate School of Professional Psychology – housed in the Ammi Hyde building – offers an array of master’s programs in addition to its Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) in clinical psychology. The school maintains an admissions staff in addition to the Office of Graduate Studies.

       

    11. Physics Building

      Near Wesley Hall and the Seeley Mudd Science Building, the Physics Building houses classrooms, offices, and labs for physics graduate students

       

    12. Wesley Hall

      While it will give way to the newly proposed Daniel Felix Ritchie School of Engineering & Computer Science building, Wesley Hall currently acts as headquarters for the School of Engineering & Computer Science offices, including the office of the Dean

    13. Olin Hall

      Olin Hall is the home base for many of our students taking classes in the life sciences, including Biological Sciences and Chemistry. Our biology and chemistry labs can be found here, as well as the campus greenhouse.

    14. Boettcher Center West

      Named for one of Denver's most philanthropic families, the Boettcher Center West hosts offices and classrooms for both Geography and the Environment and Natural Sciences & Mathematics.

       

    15. Johnson-McFarlane Hall

      Johnson-McFarlane Hall, or J-Mac, as it's more commonly known, is a three-story residence hall for freshmen.

       

      Every bedroom in J-Mac accommodates two students. Large bathrooms are shared by the residents of each floor.

    16. Sie Complex

      Students enrolled in the Josef Korbel School of International Studies (JKSIS) learn, engage and study at the Sie Complex. JKSIS also houses its own admissions office and career services

       

    17. Center for Advocacy, Prevention, and Empowerment

      The Center for Advocacy, Prevention, and Empowerment (formerly Gender-Based Violence Education and Support Services, GVESS) provides programs and resources that promote healthy relationships, teach non-violence and equality, and foster a respectful and safe environment for all members of the University of Denver community. It is located on the first floor of Nelson Hall.

       

    18. Frontier Hall

      The Department of Psychology offers a research-oriented PhD that emphasizes collaborative and interdisciplinary approaches. Offices are located at Frontier Hall, found between Craig and Nagel Hall.

    20. Department of Campus Safety

      The Department of Campus Safety is staffed 24 hours a day year-round by trained professionals. In life-threatening emergencies, or when you need immediate police, fire or medical assistance, make the following TWO calls: 911 and 303-871-3000 (1-3000). You can report a crime or Honor Code violation to Campus Safety at any time by calling 303-871-2334. 

       

    21. Driscoll Center South

      Bridging the northern and southern
      ends of campus, the Driscoll Student Center comprises several essential

      The DU lightrail station is located on Buchtel Boulevard, which many students use both to commute to campus and to access downtown Denver on a daily basis – all public transportation is free for full-time students of the University.

       

    24. Ritchie Center

      The Ritchie Center for Sports and Wellness hosts our 17 Division I varsity teams. This state-of-the-art facility includes Magness Arena, the El Pomar Natatorium, the Peter Barton Lacrosse Stadium, a recently renovated soccer stadium, the Joy Burns ice rink, Hamilton Gymnasium and the Coors Fitness Center. Come cheer on the Pioneers at one of our many sporting events!

       

    25. Shwayder Art Building

      Home to the School of Art & Art History, the Shwayder Art Building is just south of the Ritchie Center and also houses student- and faculty-run art galleries

    26. Leo Block Alumni Center

      Open Monday-Friday, 8am to 4:30pm, the Leo Block Alumni Center houses the Office of Alumni Relations. Located on the northeast edge of Driscoll Green, the Center offers support for those alumni looking to stay connected with the University of Denver on a variety of fronts.

    29. Center for Multicultural Excellence

      The Center for Multicultural Excellence, in collaboration with University partners, fosters an inclusive environment that welcomes, supports, and celebrates the University of Denver's exceptional students, faculty, and staff. Walk-in visitors are welcome, though appointments with individual staff are encouraged.

       

    30. Anderson Academic Commons

      Formerly the Penrose Library, the Anderson Academic Commons is the latest architectural addition to the University of Denver. The Commons acts as the educational heart and hub of our campus, with new and improved spaces for students and faculty to engage in scholarship and discussion, including graduate study carrels.
