WQFS is Guilford’s non-commercial, alternative community radio station that has been broadcasting daily since 1970. Operated by students and community volunteers, WQFS provides Greensboro with refreshing programming including a huge range of musical genres, with a focus on independent music labels. In addition to music, WQFS provides news, lectures and other culturally-rich programming.
