    1. Commons

      The Commons is the "living room" of campus. Students can socialize, grab a bite to eat, watch TV, play games, and more.

      The Commons overlooks Haber Green, and is connected to Kuch Athletic and Recreation Center. It houses Student Affairs; Student Government (SGO); Office of Engagement & New Student Programs; Chat; Game Room; Fireplace Lounge; Great Room; and the Board Room.

      Facilities Descriptions

      • Great Room. A multi-purpose room that seats up to 500. The room is used for dances, comedians, award ceremonies, and special events.
      • The Chat. The Chat features three food stations including J. Clarkes Grill, Market Street Deli and the Bravo action station. There is also a milkshake machine and a Up for Grabs food and drink section.
      • Commons Art Gallery. An area that showcases exhibitions and works by students, faculty, alumni, and even community members.
      • Lounge Areas and Student Activities/Engagement Offices. The lounge areas on the first floor allow for casual conversation and gatherings.
      • Stein Fireplace Lounge. The lounge provides a relaxing environment with gas-operated fireplace and televisions to provide students an area to work and gather together.
      • Game Room. The Game Room features pool, ping pong, and other activities for students, staff and faculty.
      • Lounge Areas and Student Organization Offices. The offices are used by student organizations such as Student Government, and Student Programming Board. 
      • Meeting Rooms. The meeting rooms are used by the Board of Trustees as well as the campus community. The area outside the College of Health Sciences is used for receptions and gatherings.
      • Bridge. The Bridge linking the Commons to the Castle is a gift from the Class of 1960 as part of their 50th Reunion celebration.
