    1. Taylor Hall

Taylor Hall opened in 1962 as the Classroom Building. In 1995, the building was renamed in honor of Arcadia University's third president, Riley T. Taylor.

Located at the north end of campus, the building houses classrooms, administrative offices and academic departments including: Academic Advising, Arcadia Community Learning Center, Education; English; Graduate and Undergraduate Studies, Institutional Diversity, One-Stop Shop, KnightCard Services, Philosophy and Religion; Registrar, and the Teaching and Learning Center.

      Taylor Hall Highlights

      • The One-Stop Shop (ground floor) is a resource for students who have issues relating to billing, financial aid and registration.
      • Registrar's Office and the Office of Graduate and Undergraduate Studies are located on the ground floor.
      • School of Education is housed on the upper floors of Taylor Hall.
      • The basement of Taylor Hall was a designated Fallout Shelter during the 1960s and had an inventory of Civil Defense All Purpose Survival Crackers (packed in 1962).
      • The building design included an option to add another wing perpendicular to the existing structure originating where the bathrooms are now located. The impact of adding that wing was deemed too intrusive to the adjacent vegetation and was never constructed.
