    1. Blagg-Huey Library (BHL)

      Texas Woman’s history and modern technology meet in the Blagg-Huey Library. Decorated with stained glass and traditional architecture, the library also hosts modern amenities and workspaces to enhance your studying. 

      Fun Fact: The library cupola—the pretty tower atop the building—is also known on campus as the office for our mascot, Oakley.

    2. Redbud Theater Complex (RTC)

      Located on the North side of Hubbard Hall, the newly renovated Redbud Theatre Complex seats 100 audience members and serves as the home of TWU’s theatre program. Check out a 360° view of the Redbud Theater Complex

    3. Pioneer Hall (PH)

      Pioneer Hall is special. As the home where our Denton/Dallas graduates cross the stage for commencement, it’s the last place many of our students see. With 140,000-square feet of space on three floors, it’s also where we house competitions for our award-winning TWU Pioneers student athletes, including:

      Pioneer Hall also houses classrooms, seminar rooms and research labs.

    4. Dance-Gymnastics Laboratory Building (DGL)

      This building is reserved for students in TWU’s dance programs. Dance students hold classes, rehearsals, film, perform or hold community dance classes in seven spacious dance studios. The third floor is home to TWU Gymnastics’ practice facility, which underwent a major renovation in 2014.

    5. Multipurpose Classroom Laboratory Building (MCL)

      This nine-story building includes a 400-seat auditorium as well as office, classroom and clinical spaces.

    6. Scientific Research Commons (SRC)

      This new four-story, 80,000-square foot science and research center houses graduate and undergraduate research laboratory spaces for several programs. Additionally, the building includes collaboration and conference spaces as well as faculty offices, graduate student workspaces, lab support spaces, scientific equipment repair services and a microscopy suite.

    7. Fine Arts Annex (FAA)

      Home to new Visual Arts graduate studios. Texas Woman’s students will host their MFA open studio tours here.

    8. Woodcock Hall (WH)

      Named after world-renowned psychologist, Richard W. Woodcock, this building is home to the Woodcock Institute, classrooms and clinics where students gain hands-on experience in their fields.

    9. Old Main Building (OMB)

      For many years, our historic Old Main building— the first first building on campus—was used for everything, including classrooms, the library and the auditorium. Today, it’s home to our several academic departments and our Institute for Women’s Leadership, which prepares students and women in the community to become successful in business and public policy roles. The institute’s three specialized centers—Center for Student Leadership, Center for Women Entrepreneurs and Center for Women in Politics & Public Policy—ensure women have the education to establish careers as successful C-suite executives, the skills for building entrepreneurial businesses and the framework needed to run for public office.

      Fun Fact: While taking down a wall for building renovations, workers discovered a time capsule from 1927. The time capsule included a letter by Jessie Humphries, a former associate dean who also wrote the words inscribed on the base of the Pioneer Woman Statue.

    10. Classroom Faculty Office Building (CFO)

      A 13-story tall building with some of TWU’s largest classrooms on the first two floors, faculty offices and some academic advisors on the 3rd through 12th floors and conference rooms on the 13th floor.

    11. Stoddard Hall (SH)

      One of the oldest buildings on campus, Stoddard Hall is home to faculty/staff offices and student resources, like the Honors Program.

    13. Graduate Research Building (GRB)

      The Graduate Research Building houses Biology labs where students and professors conduct research on topics, such as a pain reliever that could someday replace opioids and biology-related dementia.

    14. Music Building (MUS)

      A majority of TWU’s music classes take place in this building. The Margo Jones Performance Hall is also located here and boasts beautiful acoustics and a seating capacity of 1,074 people. This state-of-the-art performance facility showcases our music, drama and dance productions.

      In addition to the numerous concerts featured here throughout the year, the hall is also a venue for other noteworthy events including official university ceremonies, guest lectures and fashion productions.

    15. Ann Stuart Science Complex (ASSC)

      An 80,000-square foot building with the latest technology and equipment for researching and teaching nursing and STEM subjects, including a greenhouse.

    16. Visual Arts Building (ART)

      Home to TWU’s visual arts majors, the Visual Arts Building hosts classes, labs, events, exhibitions and special programming led by faculty, staff and renowned artists from across the nation and around the world. In addition to state-of-the-art 2D and 3D media and intermedia creation spaces, the building houses our East | West Galleries, two well-lit 1,700-square foot exhibition rooms; a new digital research studio; and a contemporary, multipurpose project space located in the basement.
