What was once the presidential mansion's carriage house, the building was remodeled and opened in 1996 as the Women's Center. The center was formed to facilitate the advancement and improvement of the educational experience and professional lives for the women students, faculty and staff on all campuses. It serves as a resource for advocacy by providing education, information, and referral programs and services. The center is dedicated to promoting dialogue and interaction with all campus constituencies concerned with the pursuit of equity and equality.
