The Jenkins Courtyard is named in honor of longtime Claremont Graduate University supporters Matthew and Roberta Jenkins.
Matthew Jenkins served as a CGU trustee from 1989 to 2006; Roberta Jenkins served on the School of Educational Studies’ Board of Advisors for 20 years. The
Matthew and Roberta Jenkins Fellowship supports African-American students studying in any discipline. They also started a charitable trust that supports African-American students
enrolled in doctoral and master’s programs at the Peter F. Drucker and Masatoshi Ito Graduate School of Management.
