Capital Building Fund Site-Specific Commission Consisting of five suspended sculptures made of repurposed materials, Lift resembles a fantastical universe or a microscopic landscape writ large. The sculptures are engineered with solar powered-motors, which provide the energy for the sculpture to rotate. Through their dynamic forms and densely populated surfaces, they also embody the type of physical activity and recreation occurring in the space itself.
