The Communications Lab is OCCC’s writing center. This lab offers one-on-one tutoring, both in-person or online, for students who need assistance with their writing abilities, essays, or reading comprehension. The Communications Lab tutors students in any discipline that assigns written work, and an appointment is not necessary. Students are required to sign-in with their student ID’s upon entry. The Communications Lab also has 35 computers students can use to access their online courses, type essays and other assignments, and print up to 10 pages per day for no charge.
