      Minnesota State University, Mankato's Otto Arena, center of physical education and athletic competition, was constructed in 1962. The complex houses the university's main gymnasium, swimming pool, indoor track, various practice areas, locker rooms, and related offices. The Arena is named in honor of Robert "Bob" Otto, former athletic director and football coach at Minnesota State University, Mankato.
