    1. Wissink Building

      Minnesota State University, Mankato's Wissink Building was constructed in 1987 and opened in early 1988. The building is named in honor of Dr. Gerrit M. Wissink, former chaiperson of the Minnesota State Mankato physics department and a former Minnesota State Mankato dean. The building houses an academic computer center on the first floor, offices and classrooms on the second and third floors. The Leichsenring Nursing Center, on the building's third floor, is named for Dr. Melba Leichsenring, dean of the School of Nursing from 1977 until her death in 1987.
