Howdy Bed
The Howdy Bed was started in 2012 with the Alabama home football game. For each home game, SSC Services for Education’s grounds management team plants colors of the opposing team welcoming fans to College Station. During the 2012 live broadcast, CBS commentators mentioned the friendliness of TAMU and went on to say that we planted the Tide’s colors. The Howdy Bed has also become very popular with students and parents who often line up for pictures in front of the bed.
