The Mitchell Physics Building is one of the two stand-out buildings renowned architect Michael Graves designed for the physics and astronomy departments at Texas A&M. This building is noteworthy for the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Garden, a 10,000-square-foot sanctuary for butterflies and other insects. It is the only rooftop garden on campus.
This building is LEED Silver certified.
