1 Wendell Street is a wheel chair accessible 70-person suite-style residence hall built to LEED Silver standards and home to upper-class Lesley University students. It consists of 4, 6, and 8-person double-room suites. The living room area of each suite has a kitchen table, chairs, and soft furniture. Other amenities include 1 to 2 bathrooms; a kitchenette area equipped with a microwave, small fridge, and sink; counter space; and cabinets. Bedrooms have a bed, desk, chair, bureau, and wardrobe/closet to accommodate each resident. On the ground floor of the residence hall there is a large lounge with comfortable furniture, a flat screen television equipped with cable television, a full sized kitchen, and laundry facilities. The Massachusetts Avenue side of the dormitory is lined with retail. Currently, Hi-Rise Bread Company, a local coffee store and bakery has an address here.
