    1. St. John's Chapel

St. John's Chapel was constructed in 1868 by renowned architects Ware and Van Brunt as the first of three buildings they designed on the campus.  Identified by sociologist Wendy Cage and architectural historian Alice Friedman as a hidden gem, this former sanctuary offers an ideal place to pause and reflect.  Two major renovations occurred since the building was first constructed, one in 1930 and another in 1966-67, when a new accessible entrance was constructed under its triple-lancet windows.
