        Renovated in 1999, Goodyear Hall is a Corps residence hall housing 167 cadets.

         

        History: Built in 1955, Goodyear Hall is named after Maj. Gen. Conger A. Goodyear, a Norwich trustee and veteran of both World Wars. A prominent private art collector, Goodyear helped found the Museum of Modern Art in New York City in 1938 and served as its first president. Goodyear also acted as the president and chairman of the board of the American National Theater and Academy and as a director of Paramount Pictures.
