Located in the Engineering, Math and Science Complex, Tompkins Hall is the hub of the College of Science & Mathematics. The departments of Biology & Physical Education and Mathematics occupy the second floor.
History: Built in 1951, Tompkins Hall was named in honor of Col. Frank Tompkins. A distinguished World War I veteran, Tompkins was awarded the Distinguished Service Cross and Purple Heart. He later served as commandant and professor of military science and tactics at Norwich from 1910-23 and as a long-standing trustee.
