On the edge of campus, just a short walk from the library, sits the Office of Public Safety. It is the base for the Middlebury Public Safety officers, who patrol the campus on foot, by bike, and in cars to assist Middlebury students and keep them safe.
The officers and staff members are here to make you feel more comfortable and confident on campus. All officers are certified in CPR, first aid, and AED use, and they respond to emergencies.
Many students will have frequent interactions with the office as they look to Public Safety for help with the campus parking policy, getting back into a locked dorm, reprinting a lost ID, or cutting a bike lock after the key disappears down a storm drain.
