      1. Munford House

Middlebury’s academic and special interest houses allow sophomores, juniors, and seniors to live in a community of students with a common interest. In these spaces, students work together to pursue their passions, advance their study, and share in discovery. The efforts of these communities resonate across campus.

In Munford, students live together and form a community around the shared interest of intentional living. While living intentionally looks different to each student, members of the house focus on slowing down, diving into deep conversations, living a life in the present, and creating a diverse, mindful, and inclusive community.

Twenty-nine students live in the 25 singles and two doubles, and they frequently make use of the large kitchen and ground floor common room to host events, hold house meetings, explore challenging questions, and build relationships.
