Middlebury’s academic and special interest houses allow sophomores, juniors, and seniors to live in a community of students with a common interest. In these spaces, students work together to pursue their passions, advance their study, and share in discovery. The efforts of these communities resonate across campus.

Jewett House allows students to pursue wellness in a community setting. Together, they holistically pursue a healthier life, both in mind and body. Members can work with a peer-programming assistant to address wellness in areas such as nutrition, fitness, alcohol, and drugs, and also create programming and host events about these topics for other students on campus.

Twelve students live in Jewett across four singles and four doubles. The quaint house is located on the edge of campus and has a lounge and kitchen perfect for event hosting. On a nice spring day, residents may start their day with a walk into town for a cup of coffee or breakfast.
